Brian Carlson
Brian Carlson has over 18 years of professional IT experience and studied computer science at Chabot College. Brian began his career as a junior systems administrator for a large printing company, managing more than 300 computers across 20 locations in California. He later founded and operated SF Bay Computers before joining a larger IT company in the Bay Area. Today, Brian leads Ridgeline IT Solutions and is pursuing his CISSP certification to further validate his expertise in cybersecurity leadership, implementation, and management.
Beyond technology, Brian enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping in the Sierra Nevada. He is a father of three, and the founder of the California Wilderness Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving California’s natural spaces. He also restores classic arcade machines, practices juggling, and loves to cook — especially experimenting with sauces — bringing the same care and experimentation to the kitchen that he brings to his work in IT.
